Golden Award The prize Golden Award of Montreux represents the waves of the Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), the peaks of the nearby Alps and the letter "M" for Montreux. The stone was taken from the lakeside. As entertainment is our main goal the Golden Award is given to the most entertaining commercial. |

Gold Medal In each competition TV, Print, Web, are different product and technical categories, see list of categories, where the best entries are rewarded with a gold medal. In the technical and product categories is entertainment not the main target. Decisive is the total impression. After deciding about the finalists in each category, the jury discusses which finalist is worth a gold medal. The decision is made after voting with simple majority. It is possible that in one category there are two gold medals, but also that there is none. In last years competition there were 35 gold medals. |

Finalist Award Certificate All Finalists are rewarded with an Award Certificate which credits each creative for his/her personal specific contribution. Among all finalists the jury decides then who will win a gold medal. |
